Lords, Loans, & Liars is a game where you, ruler of a kingdom, must maintain your funds while keeping the people's trust in you.

People will visit you, asking for gold, promising to pay you back. The problem is that some of the people are lying, with no plans to keep their promises. Your challenge is to keep track of promises made, consider amounts asked for, and remember appearances, all to learn who can be invested in and who should be declined.

Interact with your advisor, the merchants, and some other characters that'll come your way the further you play.

This game was made as a team as a part of the Ben Bonk Game Jam #1. The theme was "Trust No One."

sort the court 2 hmmm

Whoopsie :P

Honestly, haven't played that game. From what I'm aware, it's more story elements or balancing different values, right? This game is about using your memory to keep track of/determine who of the merchants are trustworthy or liars. Whoops if it overlapped.

take that as a compliment - sort the court is a fantabolous game and if you accidently recreated it all the better - it's a really good and fun game you created!

Aw, thanks! Your reply gave me a chuckle because the team all acknowledged someone would inevitably bring up Sort the Court or Reigns and we were just waiting to see how long or if it would happen.
